Phone System Training
New phones will begin being placed at your building on Wednesday, February 28. The new phones will only dial internal numbers until the cut-over. These phones will NOT dial 911 and are not tied to the E911 system yet. If you need to place outside calls or dial 911, please use your old phone.
There will be a Quick Start Guide placed with each phone.
Do NOT unplug or move the new phones from their installed locations. Once phones are placed at all buildings, we will cut-over to the new system and old phones will be picked up.
A face to face training with our vender will be coordinated with our vendor toward the end of March before cut-over.
You will find videos for the Mitel 6920 IP Phone, Mitel 6930 IP Phone and Voicemail for both phones. You can access your Online Video Training Portal by visiting the BSB Communications website. You will be prompted with a login page. Your credentials are as follows:
User Name: CCS
Remember, user names & passwords are case sensitive. You can copy and paste the credentials into the login forms.
When recording your outgoing voicemail, speak slowly and clearly. You may find it helpful to use a script, like the one below:
Hello. You've reached (name), (title) at (building). I'm currently unable to take your call. Please leave your name, phone number, and a brief message, and I will return your call as soon as possible. If you need immediate assistance, please call (main office/alternative phone number).
