Let's Have a Conversation!

Community Conversations November 13 & December 12

Clarkston Community Schools is embarking upon a strategic planning process this school year. Our strategic plan will look five years ahead and chart a course based on strong indicators of what our school environment will be like in those years.

We invite you to share your thoughts, ideas, and hopes for Clarkston Community Schools at a moderated Community Conversation at the district Board Office on one of the following dates:

  • Tuesday, November 13 from 9:30am-11am
  • Wednesday, December 12 from 7pm-8:30pm

Clarkston Independence District Library Director Julie Meredith will serve as our moderator, and will utilize the Harwood Method to engage participants. The community conversation will be a 90-minute opportunity for you to provide valuable input to our strategic planning process.

Community conversations are a kitchen-table style discussion that provides an opportunity for people in the community to come together to talk about their aspirations, concerns and how they want their community to move forward. This conversation will focus on Clarkston Community Schools. Aspirations, information and ideas gathered during these conversations will then be shared with the CCS Strategic Planning Committee to be included in this process to help continue positive change.

RSVP appreciated, but not necessary. Please join us if you can!
