From Superintendent Ryan: Meal Support & Digital Access Survey

Dear Clarkston Community Schools Families,

In an effort to learn more about your family's needs related to meal support and digital access, we have developed a brief survey that we would like for you to take as soon as possible.

Take the Survey

We will begin providing "Grab & Go" breakfasts and lunches at various locations tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17) and would like to get a rough idea of how many families will be taking advantage of this service in the weeks ahead. Please see our website for locations and times: https://www.clarkston.k12.mi.us/food

We are also working on ways to issue district-owned devices for families to borrow in the event of a prolonged school closure beyond April 5. Clarkston Community Schools does not endorse any one particular internet service provider but also wanted families to be aware that Comcast announced that they will be offering 60 days of internet free to new customers and increasing internet speeds for all customers. To sign up for Comcast service, applicants can visit www.internetessentials.com, which offers the option to video chat with customer service agents in American Sign Language. There are also two dedicated phone numbers 1-855-846-8376 for English and 1-855-765-6995 for Spanish.

Lastly, in order to receive all of our district's future communications, please make sure your ParentVue contact settings are up to date, and that you are following the district social media so that you are receiving all school communications. Contact synergysupport@clarkston.k12.mi.us if you need help setting up a ParentVue account.

Sincerely,

Shawn Ryan
Superintendent of Schools
