From Superintendent Ryan: Clarkston 2025

It's an exciting time to be a learner in Clarkston! As you may know, our school district spent the better part of the 2018-2019 school year collaborating on a multifaceted strategic plan.

"The plan" (as it's now known to our staff) will serve to inform the decisions we make as a district and support unparalleled excellence in all we do for the next six years. We are calling our strategic plan "Clarkston 2025."

You spoke, and we listened.

Last year, we invited the community to participate in a survey and in moderated community conversations. We also listened closely to what our students and staff had to say, and what they saw as priorities for our school district.

As a result of this feedback, our visionary plan focuses on Four Pillars of Excellence:

Woven throughout is our ever-present drive to provide a highly equitable learning environment for all students. Our direction is clear: strong learning connections begin with a personal connection. By knowing our students and responding to their individual needs, we can dramatically improve the collective learning experience over time.

I believe in Clarkston Community Schools. I believe in the people we serve, and the programs we offer. I am inspired by the 2019-2025 strategic plan our team has created, and it's my privilege to share the highlights with you on our website at www.clarkston.k12.mi.us/clarkston2025.

The future of Clarkston Community Schools has never been brighter!
