District Partners with Bowman Chevrolet Partner to Offer Employee Vehicle Service

Clarkston Community Schools and Bowman Chevrolet have partnered to provide district employees with cost and time-saving perks. The Bowman Chevrolet Preferred Customer Program makes it easier for all CCS staff and teachers to get an oil change or vehicle repair without missing a beat at work.

On Wednesdays only, Bowman porters pick up vehicles (any make or model) at any Clarkston Community Schools building by 9am, take them to Bowman Chevrolet, or Bowman Auto Center for service, and return them to the school by 2pm. A complimentary vehicle wash is also included. Additionally, all CCS employees, with a valid school I.D., will save five percent on service and parts to be applied for future service needs.

Clarkston Community Schools Executive Director of Human Resources John Lucido said, "We know how hard our faculty and staff work, so we're pleased to be partnering with Bowman Chevrolet to offer a benefit that helps make life easier for them."

Debbie Clement, who works at the district's Central Administration Office, was one of the first employees to utilize the service. She said, "Having my car serviced through this new partnership with Bowman was a huge convenience for me. I made an appointment online, left my keys at our front reception desk, and was happy to find that my car had been serviced, washed, and returned to our parking lot when I was ready to head home for the day!"

"Teachers and school administrators play an extraordinary role in the lives of Clarkston children. Knowing how much time, effort and even personal investment these people put forth every day, we wanted to do something to help them," said Katie Coleman, president, Bowman Chevrolet. "Our Preferred Customer Program is designed to make vehicle ownership a bit easier and convenient for CCS staff."

The district's partnership with Bowman Chevrolet is just one innovative employee "perk" that comes with working at Clarkston Community Schools.
