Clarkston Community Schools Transportation Department's 16th Annual Stuff-A-Bus to support Lighthouse of Oakland County North collected an impressive 5,100 lbs of food, health care items, and other "wishlist" items. The two-day effort also brought in just under $1,000 in cash & gift card donations. Together, the 2019 totals nearly doubled last year's results!
Thank you to the bus drivers, bus aides, students, and families who volunteered their time collecting, organizing, and loading/unloading the bus. We also want to thank Kroger and Neiman's Family Market Clarkston for partnering with us again this year. Clarkston Transportation parked buses in the grocery stores' parking lots and collected donations to help those in need at this busy time of the year.
Lastly, Clarkston Transportation would like to thank the community for their continued support of this event every year, making each one more successful than the last. We look forward to continuing this great event for years to come and we couldn't do it without the great teamwork of all of the above working together.
