A Message from the CCS Learning Commons

A Message from the CCS Learning Commons

Greetings Clarkston Schools Families! We hope that this message finds you all safe & healthy! We have received several questions about materials that are checked out to students, and we wanted to address those concerns.

At this time, there are no concrete plans for collecting items that are currently checked out from our schools' Learning Commons. We want families to know that students will not incur any fines on Learning Commons' materials. We ask that you keep track of these items so when there is a collection plan in place, you know where to find them.

We would like to remind you that there are many learning resources for all students on the CCS Digital Learning Dashboard including some free e-book and audiobook sites.

You can also use your Clarkston Independence District Library card to access Hoopla and Overdrive on their website. You can check out e-books and audio books with these services. You can apply online for a CIDL library card if you don't have one.If the student in your home is struggling with online learning, take advantage of tutor.com's LIVE sessions for K-12 in ALL subjects. tutor.com/clarkstonidl
