Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT)

Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT)

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT) food assistance benefits will go to Michigan families with students ages 0 to 26 who are eligible for Free or Reduced-Price School Meals.

This includes families currently receiving Food Assistance Program (FAP) benefits, as well as those not currently enrolled in the program. No application is necessary for eligible families to receive P-EBT benefits.

This is an MDHHS program and they are still sending out cards. The school district is not part of mailing cards or letters. We only provide verification to the state that families qualify.

You can go to the MDHHS website for more details. MDHHS is processing cards in batches thru mid-May. You can also call this number if you have questions 1-833-905-0028.

Our Food Service Director recently participated in a call regarding the EBT cards and it was shared that all cards should be mailed out by the end of the month. It was stated they were running behind because of the amount of new cards that needed to be made/sent.
