In a special community event, Clarkston Community Schools will recognize Coach Dan Fife for his contributions to the district as Athletic Director and Boys Basketball Coach for more than 36 years. Fife, a 1967 CHS graduate, led the Wolvets to back-to-back state championships and became the state's third coach to top the 700-win mark last season, finishing with a 703-170 record.
All are invited to celebrate and honor our legendary coach before the varsity basketball tip-off against Wayne Memorial High School on Friday, December 14 at 6:30pm. (Please note the date has changed). Former players, McGrath campers, colleagues, friends, and classmates of Coach Fife are especially encouraged to come help make this a memorable event.
