Clarkston Community School District

Open Enrollment

Clarkston Community Schools is not a school of choice; however, some open enrollment opportunities do exist within our specialty academic programs. Open enrollment in a participating program allows a student residing outside of our district's boundaries to attend Clarkston Community Schools.

Open enrollment placement will be determined on a space-available, program by program basis. Each participating open enrollment program may choose whether or not to accept students for the next school year. Discipline and other considerations are factors in granting open enrollment requests. Denied candidates may re-submit a request at the next Open Enrollment application period.

Parents of open enrollment students are responsible for transportation to and from school.
