Young Fives & Kindergarten

Enrollment Information for 2025-2026
Kindergarten
- Children five years old before September 1 of the current year.
- Child resides in Clarkston
- Full-day Kindergarten offers students a rich curriculum with time to explore, create, socialize and learn. This program is held at each elementary school and transportation is provided for in-district students.
Young Fives
- If a child turns five years old between June 1– August 31, 2025, he/she is eligible to attend our Young Fives program.
- Students turning five years old between September 1 and December 1 attend our Young Fives
- Child resides in Clarkston
- Young Fives offers students opportunities to grow and learn through a play-based curriculum. Young Fives is a full-day program housed at our elementary sites and transportation is provided for in-district students.
How to Enroll
Orientations
April 22, 2025
Kindergarten @5:30 pm
Young Fives @ 6:30 pm
Young Fives and Kindergarten Orientations will be held at each elementary school. These events will give you and your child the opportunity to meet the principal and teacher, as well as learn more about your school.
It is strong encouraged that students are enrolled by April 15 to ensure our buildings are ready to welcome your child at the event.
