CCS Transportation operates 50 school buses, Transports 4,000 students, many shuttles from building to building, and travels more than 4,000 miles each school day, within our 58-square mile school district boundaries?

BusRight

We are partnering with BusRight, a school bus technology company, to enhance safety, efficiency, and visibility in our transportation operation. As part of this partnership, we'll roll out BusRight's bus-tracking app for parents. The BusRight Parent App will allow you to track your child's bus route in real time directly from your phone.

If you are a parent of a bus rider, you’ll be able to create an account and view your child’ bus route, live stop ETAs, and more!

View Your Child's Routes
- Switch routes to view morning and afternoon runs or routes for multiple children.
Know Where the Bus Is
- View the real-time ETA to your child's stop.
Receive Notifications
- Management notifications settings to receive alerts when your child's bus starts its trip and arrives at their stop.

How to Start Using BusRight

Download the BusRight App
Find BusRight on the Google Play or Apple App Store.
Sign Up for an Account
Sign up for an account in the app using the email you were invited with. Then, verify your email.
Login In to Your Account
Log in to your account using the credentials you just created.
View Your Child's Routes
Start viewing your child's routes and track their bus. Get ETAs in real time as they go to and from school.

Troubleshooting & Support

We are doing a tiered rollout to allow for our Transportation Department, drivers, and families all adjust a few schools at a time. The first two schools are Clarkston Elementary and North Sashabaw Elementary.

If you have not received the email invite from BusRight, please check that your email is correct in ParentVuew.

Important Transportation Information

District policy provides a 1.5 mile walking distance for secondary students and a 1.0 mile walking distance for elementary students.
Please be at your assigned bus stop location no less than 10 minutes prior to the assigned stop time. Due to many different variables, the bus may run up to 10 minutes early, or 10 minutes late.
If the bus time changes more than 10 minutes, parents will be notified via eblast.
If your student fails to get off the bus at their assigned bus stop, parents will be notified and offered to meet the student at the routes next school, or the student will be returned once the bus has completed its full route. Please make sure your student is paying attention.
All lost and found items are kept at the front of the bus for two days. They will then be taken into the school.
