LaFontaine Pack of Dogs
It has been proven that having a therapy dog in school can help increase attendance, build trust and connection between staff/students, and provide support to students who feel anxious, sad, or upset. Our therapy dogs are especially beneficial in supporting students with learning differences.
You Can Make a Difference
In order to adopt new professional therapy dogs, Clarkston Community Schools must raise funds to provide for each dog’s training and lifelong care. We have created sponsorship packages of varying levels and would love the opportunity to share more with you in person about how your business can be a part of this exciting program in our school district.
We invite your business to be a part of a meaningful program that will positively impact Clarkston Community Schools students and staff, and the Clarkston community at large. Our school district hopes to continue expanding this meaningful program and we are seeking the support of community businesses like yours to make this possible.
Please contact us at (248) 623-5400 if you would be interested in hearing more about how you can get involved.

Our Sponsors - Thank you!
The LaFontaine "Pack of Dogs" social-emotional therapy dog program will embed a therapy dog in each of our 12 schools for the benefit of more than 7,000 students everyday.
We thank our incredible community sponsors for their partnership. As a result of generous community investment, we have been able to introduce five therapy dogs in four of our schools since 2020.
