3 WAYS TO REGISTER:

1. Walk-In: Visit in-person at Independence Township. The Registration Office is in the Parks & Recreation Office in the lower level. The Registration Office is open Monday - Thursday, from 7am - 5:30pm, & closed for holidays.
2. Phone: (248) 623.4326 and press 1 for a registration attendant and pay with a credit/debit card. 
3. Online: Please visit the Clarkston Community Education Online Registration page through Independence Township.  After reading the receipt information, then scroll to the bottom to select the season/year of your program/event.  You will be able to view all programs/events that are still open for registration.  You will need to login to your customer account to register and pay online.  New customers will need to create an account. 

Checks should be made payable to Independence Township.

DROPS / REFUNDS:

Please read carefully before registering for a class.  Full refunds will be given if class is canceled by the office.  Participate requested refunds must be made prior to the beginning of the second class, regardless of attendance.  Participate refunds will be charged a $10 processing fee.  The cost of materials cannot be refunded.

NO REFUNDS:

No refunds issued for programs/events meeting once or twice (unless requested two business days in advance of starting date) or if the program description states no refunds. We cannot give any full or partial refunds for canceled or postponed classes due to inclement weather/school closings ordered by Clarkston Community Schools, Oakland County Health Department, or the State of Michigan. We cannot give any full or partial refunds for participants due to absences regardless of reason. 

Scholarships to join Clarkston Community Education programs are available through the Clarkston Area Youth Assistance. Please visit the following link to inquire more details and how to apply for a scholarship.

Once a scholarship is granted, please call or visit in person, the Clarkston Community Education's registration office to sign up for your program.

GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Register early! Many classes fill up quickly.  Please register one week in advance so we can make class enrollment decisions.  Registrants are contacted only if the class is cancelled. Clarkston Community Education reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registrations.

PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES:

Pre-registration is required for all programs.  NO drop-in registration available.

FUNDING:

Community Enrichment programs are funded entirely by class fees.  Any classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment requirements may be canceled.
