Oakland County Issues Emergency Health Order Requiring Masks In Educational Settings

Late this afternoon, the Oakland County Health Division issued an emergency public health order mandating masks in K-12 schools during the school day for all students and staff, regardless of COVID vaccination status. The order is effective immediately; therefore, beginning tomorrow (Wednesday, August 25), masks are required in all Clarkston Community Schools buildings and on school buses until further notice.
We will communicate more information regarding this new public health guidance prior to our first day of school on Monday, August 30.
