Free Meal Services for All Students

Clarkston Community Schools, in partnership with Chartwells School Dining, is committed to providing free school meals for all children throughout the entire 2020-2021 school year as part of an extended USDA grant for the 2020-2021 school year. In-person learners will be offered free breakfast and lunch daily at school, while any at-home learners are invited to our weekly Wednesday curbside distribution of free "Grab and Go" breakfast and lunch. 

Children do not need to be present for parents, neighbors, or friends to pick up meals. 

  • Free "Grab and Go" meals will be provided at two pick-up locations (SMS and CJHS) every Wednesday from 12:45-1:15
  • Clarkston Virtual students, as well as secondary students participating in Distance Learning on Wednesdays and any student who is ill or quarantined are also eligible to pick up meals  
  • Free meals for children ages 18 and younger (26 and younger if Adult Transition Services student).
  • Individual meals are packed to be picked up and taken home.
  • Children do not need to be present for parents to pick up meals.
  • Children do not need to be enrolled in Clarkston Community Schools

Blessings in a Backpack logo

Established "Blessings in a Backpack" recipients should pick up Blessings in a Backpack during the school food distribution.
