Team 104 participates in a Fluency mini-lesson titled '3 Hats'.  Mr. Y models an example on the board first.

Students work in pairs (literacy buddies) to find good examples in their 'Good Fit' books and then record ideas in their Readers Response Journals.

This is a close-up example of students work.  We used post-it notes to help develop expressive reading ideas.

Students enjoyed being able to have choice in selecting an expressive reading idea.  Examples were read to the class on a volunteer basis.
