Meet the Speech-Language Pathologist: Kylie Krentzin
My name is Kylie Krentzin and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at CE. I have had the pleasure of being part of the CE team since 2004. I have a Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Wayne State University.
What is a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist?
The school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates students to determine a possible impairment in the areas of language development, articulation, voice and/or fluency according to state guidelines (as outlined by the Review of Existing Evaluation Data-REED).

Speech-language services are provided based on students' needs as outlined with goals in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The Speech-Language Pathologist works collaboratively with parents, educational staff and other members of the support team to improve speech-language skills.
