Welcome y bienvenidos to English as a Second Language. My name is Ann Krause and I work with children whose native language is not English. I feel very priviledged to work with bilingual students. Their intelligence and perserverence in learning inspire me every day. I graduated from Wayne State University with a B.A. in Spanish and English. After I had my second child I returned to Baker College and obtained my teaching certificate in Elementary Education and Language Arts. Last fall I began my master's degree in Linguistics and received my endorsement in ESL. I live in Oxford with my husband and three beautiful daughters. I am very proud of the students I work with and their parents, who are so involved in our school community. I love working in Clarkston. What a wonderful community!
