Love and Logic

At North Sashabaw Elementary we implement "Love and Logic." This approach helps your child take responsibility for his/her actions. Our school-wide rule is "You are free to act in any way that doesn't cause a problem for yourself or anyone else in the world." A "Recovery Zone" is in our classroom where children can go to think about what happened and to solve the problem they have created. The children can be sent there, or the children can choose for themselves to go to the area. For more information, check out the parent Love and Logic books that are available at our media center.
