Enjoy Problem Solving and Challenging Yourself?

If yes, then you would no doubt enjoy being a part of the SMS or the CJHS Math Team, As a member of the school Math Team you can expect to have fun, be challenged, expand your math knowledge, and develop your problem solving and logical reasoning skills.


We will begin meeting the first week of October, however meeting days have yet to be determined. I will be forwarding a survey, via math teachers at each building, to determine which day of the week we will meet.  (This holds true for both SMS and CJHS) 

Major competitions take place in January and February**.

*We have pizza and pop at each meeting, so bring a couple bucks.

**Including: The Detroit Country Day Invitational, the Regional MathCounts competition, and the SMS Invitational.A MathCounts Appreciation Day at the GM Tech Center typically occurs in April.
