New K - 5^th grade students to the Clarkston Community School District must enroll at their home boundary elementary school.

New 6^th – 7^th grade students must enroll at Sashabaw Middle School, 5565 Pine Knob Lane, Clarkston, MI 48346.  Please call 248-623-4200.

New 8^th -9^th grade students must enroll at Clarkston Junior High School, 6595 Waldon Road, Clarkston, MI 48346.  Please call for an appointment 248-623-5600.

New 10^th -12^th grade students must enroll at Clarkston High School, 6093 Flemings Lake Road, Clarkston, MI 48346.   Please call  248-623-3600.

The following information is intended to help you through the enrollment process. An original birth certificate is required.  A copy will be made and the original will be returned.

In addition to the above forms, the following documents are required for enrollment:

• One proof of residency from the following list:   
  - Recent property tax statement
  - Closing statement from recently purchased home
  - Current lease/rental agreement
  - Homeowner's/renter's insurance statement
  - Current electric and/or gas bill
  -  If you reside with a friend or relative, you must complete an affidavit which can be obtained at  the Central Enrollment Office.
  
• Child's original or certified birth certificate (valid passport, if not born in the U.S.).  Birth certificates can be obtained through the County in which your child was born at the Register of Deeds office. 
  
• Parent/guardian picture identification (driver's license/passport)
  
• Court orders or placement papers, if applicable.
  
• Official immunization record ( Immunization Checklist provided to help in determining if immunizations are up-to-date)
  
• Proof of satisfactory vision exam (kindergarten students only)
  
• Student's report card, high school transcript or withdrawal grades from previous school.
  
• If child is receiving special education services, a copy of current Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  
• If parents are divorced, a copy of court documentation showing custody responsibility.
