What is Game for a Cure?
The 2013 The Game for a Cure is Saturday, May 11, 2013 from
9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Game for a Cure is an all-day lacrosse
event where girls and boys lacrosse teams (grades 2-12) play to raise money for the St. Joseph Cancer Center in
Pontiac, Michigan for cancer research.
Invite your family and friends for a great day of lacrosse!!
Last year we raised over $15,000 for cancer research. Let's work together to raise even more this year!

Game for a Cure T-Shirts
The main fundraising effort is selling $15 t-shirts with our new 2013
Game for a Cure t-shirt. Fans wearing the t-shirt will
have FREE admission to the event.
T-Shirt Sale Incentive for Players:
The player who turns in their order with payment first of 20 shirts or more wins a prize. A prize will also be given to the player who sells the MOST t-shirts. Prizes are for groups in grades 2-8 and 9-12.
Game for a Cure Jersey Sponsorship
CLARKSTON VARSITY players, parents and family members have an opportunity to purchase a special $75 jersey with a loved one's name written on the back. It can be a loved one who HAS battled cancer, IS battling cancer or has LOST their battle with cancer. Sponsors will keep the jersey. Additional Game for a Cure Activities
Other events planned for this fun-filled day include:
- Radar gun shooting contest. The fastest shot in each age group will win a prize.
